Response times

Email enquiries are usually responded to within one business day. Urgent matters — programme recoveries, regulator-facing deadlines — are prioritised.

If your matter is genuinely urgent, please flag it in the subject line of your email and we will adjust the priority accordingly.

Please share a few details about what you are working on. Everything you share is treated as confidential and is used only for the purpose of responding to your enquiry.

Which area best describes your need?

A note on fit

When we are the right people to talk to

We are a small practice. We cannot help every organisation that approaches us. The work we take on is the work that suits the way we work — independent advisory, senior-led, fixed-fee. If your need is for a large delivery team, an offshore execution capability, or a multi-year implementation partner, we will say so and refer you elsewhere.

We are usually the right people to talk to when there is a decision to be made that the executive team cannot settle alone, when a programme needs an independent pair of eyes, when a vendor relationship needs to be reset, or when a strategy needs to be reviewed against current reality. If any of those describe the situation you are facing, please get in touch.

If you are not sure whether we are the right people, get in touch anyway. We will tell you honestly whether we can help, and if we cannot, we will suggest who can. Most of the conversations we have do not turn into engagements, and that is fine.

What happens next

The process from your first message to a delivered engagement

STEP 01

First conversation

A 45-minute call to understand the situation, the decision you are trying to make, and the outcome you are hoping for. No fee, no obligation.

STEP 02

Engagement letter

If we are the right people to help, we send a short engagement letter describing the scope, the deliverable, the price and the date. Two-page document, no surprises.

STEP 03

Discovery

The first phase of work — interviews, document review, current-state assessment. We work alongside your team, not above it.

STEP 04

Deliverable

The conclusion, in plain language, with explicit links back to the evidence. The board can read it and know what was done and what was found.

Before you write

Questions people often ask before picking up the phone

What should I put in the enquiry message?

Three things, in a few sentences: the situation you are in, the decision you are trying to make, and the outcome you are hoping for. You do not need to send confidential detail — we will sign an NDA before any sensitive discussion. If you are not sure where it fits, just describe the problem and we will take it from there.

Is the first conversation really free?

Yes. The opening conversation is 45 minutes, at no cost and with no obligation. Its purpose is for both of us to decide whether we are the right people. If we are not, we will tell you and suggest who is.

Do you work with organisations outside Sydney?

Yes. While the office is on the lower North Shore, the majority of our advisory work is delivered remotely or on-site across Australia, including Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. Travel is arranged as needed and disclosed in the engagement letter.

How do you charge?

Fixed fee, scoped and priced up front. We do not work on time-and-materials, and there are no success fees tied to a vendor outcome. The price, the deliverable and the date are written into a short engagement letter before any work begins.

Is my information treated confidentially?

Yes. Everything shared in the enquiry and the first conversation is treated in confidence. If the matter is commercially or regulatorially sensitive, we are glad to sign a mutual NDA before we discuss specifics. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
